INSIDE METROPLEX

Janus and Aero glanced down the hall."Well, which side shall we start on?" asked Aero. "How about both sides at once" said Janus. "Good idea, lets get to it" The two ran down opposite sides of the hall checking doors. Then Aero realized something, all the doors had a small light next to them that said WARNING, if there was a problem in the room surely that light would be on. So he ran down the hall, looking, until he saw it. A room with a flashing light. "In here!" he yelled to Janus and ran through the door. Inside they saw a huge tube, that looked like a core reactor. On one side there was a couple of wires freyed and cut. On the other side were some gas lines....and one was leaking!!!

The year is 3015 and the wars between the Transformers have been long since forgotten, becoming more myth than fact. What become of the heroic giants from long ago?? Do they still exist?? Does Cybertron still exist?? Now as a new era dawns the mystery of the Transformers begins to unfold....

OUTSIDE METROPLEX

Metroplex stood there a moment and looked over the scene that had laid itself out before him. Then he once again started for the survey camp. Deep in his mind he knew this was wrong..but he didnt know how to stop himself. Unknown to Metroplex all of his ability for feeling, emotion, and reasonable thinking was slowly leaking away inside him...

BACK INSIDE METROPLEX

Aero and Janus carefully surveyed the scene. "How are we supposed to fix this with no tools?" asked Aero. "I remember seeing a repair room on the map, J-3 I think it was, that is just one floor below us. You go check it out and see what you can find...Ill stay here and start repairing the wires." said Janus. "Ok Ill get right on it....you be careful buddy." "Janus is always careful." he replied with a sarcastic grin. With that Aero slipped through the door toward the elevator. Not knowing at the time that the life of his entire crew relies on his speed.

MILITIA POST Z19

A young radio operator watches his monitor, almost asleep from boredom when something appears. "My God!" exclaimed the radio man. "Sir come look at this, hurry" He yells to his commanding officer. A large man steps down out of a small office and walks over to look at the screen. He sees a large land based vehicle moving toward them. "Shit" said the commander, "That looks like the same thing K42 was dispatched to destroy, sound the alarm" barked the commander. "Yes sir" replied the radio man. Hi swiveled his chair to another terminal to his right where three large buttons, marked condition green, which was lit, condition yellow, and condition red resided. He quickly pushed the button marked condition red and alarms began to sound around him. The commander comes over the PA, "Attention all soldiers, this is not a drill, man your battle stations immediately, I repeat this is not a drill, ready all defenses and raise perimeter shields". Men were scrambling all over the place trying to prepare for the oncoming threat. Then suddenly an ion pulse rips through the base destroying several vehicles, and everybody around the radio operator. In his 1 1/2 years he had never seen such a disgusting sight. Bloody, dismembered bodies lay all around him. His friends, his commanders, and even people he just didnt like. But he felt bad for all alike. Then another blast rips through, more destruction. The he remembers....April!!! His one and only love is back at the Survey Camp. He has to make it back. He crawls from his radio booth to see the enormous beast towering over the camp. His armor being pounded with missiles and lasers...but no effect. Metroplex fires a missiles into the camp destroying everything within range. He then begins stomping people that are trying to scamper away. It is no use. Within minutes all the humans are dead....except one. A radio operator with a mission. He hides...cowering down in a small jeep. Hopefully he can escape the robots rampage and make it back to the survey camp to his love. Then suddenly Metroplex began to walk again. Right for the jeep....
